A NEW DIRECTION
follow the star to game night
Quedos’ newest design, created in collaboration with JP Woodworks — the exquisite Quedos Aurora top paired with the sleek, modern design of a powdercoated star base. A centrepiece for entertaining that balances craftsmanship with contemporary style.
This table also features:
- Quedos Aurora top paired with a powdercoated star base
- Collaboration between Quedos and JP Woodworks
- A striking centrepiece for entertaining
The North Star brings together two distinct areas of design and craftsmanship, combining the sculptural billiard table design of Quedos with the custom furniture and fabrication capabilities of JP Woodworks, our sister company.
At the centre of the design is the distinctive Quedos Aurora top, with its elliptical form and concealed pockets creating a smooth, uninterrupted profile. Beneath it sits a completely different interpretation of a billiard table base — a geometric steel star structure designed and fabricated by JP Woodworks.
The powder-coated steel base creates a strong architectural contrast against the warmth and character of the timber top. Viewed from different angles, the intersecting steel sections change the appearance of the table, making the base an important part of the overall design rather than simply a supporting structure.
The North Star can be customised through a combination of timber species, timber finishes, powder-coat colours and cloth colours, allowing each table to be tailored to the surrounding interior.
Its combination of timber and steel makes the North Star particularly well suited to contemporary homes, architectural interiors, offices, boardrooms and commercial entertainment spaces.
Each North Star is manufactured in Western Australia, bringing together Quedos' experience in billiard table construction with JP Woodworks' experience in custom furniture and metal fabrication.
The result is a distinctly modern Australian-made billiard table that combines the proven form of the Aurora with a new architectural base created specifically for the North Star.
Regular care and maintenance will help preserve the appearance and playing performance of the table for years to come. Quedos tables are backed by our warranty, with coverage subject to the applicable warranty terms and proper care and maintenance.
